On twitter and myspace what do you do when you have more than one person claiming to be a famous person. How do you know who the real one is?
I mean famous people like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus etc.
On myspace and twitter and stuff like that?

It will say “official blah blah page” and the real one will look the most authentic.

Some celebrities release statements about their networking habits – a lot of the genuine ones will have an ‘official’ mark on them somewhere. They’re hard to find though, and a lot of celebrities tend to steer clear of social networking.

If you mean a singer, a genuine MySpace celebrity will often have links to other sites selling their music (Amazon, iTunes). A faker would not bother to do that and probably would not know how. In addition, there might also be a link to the person’s official website. You could also check the blogs.
Sorry I cannot help with Twitter, but it should be easy for the genuine celebrity to detect the faker and have them removed

easy.. don’t add any of them. they’re only there using u to promote their music. it’s not like they’ll gonna say ‘hi how are you? what u been up to? thanks for the support.’ bla bla bla

if their really famous like soulja boy or john mayor they will have verified account with a blue check mark above their name on the left side
