Is Twitter much the same as Facebook? What’s the difference?


I’ve heard lots about it, but I don’t want to use Twitter if its the same kind of social networking site as Facebook or Myspace, etc.

    no, twitter is when bored people SMS in their status 24/7 and let the world know their mundane happenings. its silly if you ask me.

    Twitter is the same as Facebook in the fact like FB you update your status. Well Twitter is just that using 140 characters.

    Twitter is not for everyone. If you are one of those people that really don’t have anything smart to quick to say no one will want to follow you. It’s also for an older crowd not kid on myspace types.

    I have friends on FB that have no sense of originality. Now these are my friends so I have to deal with it and don’t’ want to delete them.
    On Twitter I’m able to get updates from some very smart and funny people with news updates, jokes, spiritual advice and recipe ideas.
    I only follow maybe 5 friends on there. So if you want to join Twitter get your gameface on otherwise you are going to be another snooze fest
